  • Meeting at Isandlatech with Olivier Gattaz
  • Study of the Doppler effect
  • Simulations of speed calculations based on the frequency
  • Starting the project with Cohorte

Week 5 : 08/02 - 14/02

  • Working on the component diagram
  • Working on the web client’s structure

Week 6 : 15/02 - 21/02

  • Working on connecting the Raspberry Pi (many fails)

Problems :

  • Confusion between our Raspberry and Isandlatech’s
  • SD carte troubleshooting, impossible to install raspbian

Week 7 : 22/02 - 28/02

Work done :

  • Holidays
  • Tries to install raspbian on the Raspberry (fail)

Week 8 : 29/02 - 06/03

Work done :

  • Installation of raspbian on the Raspberry
  • Working on the 7th march presentation

Problems :

  • An Arduino is needed to acquire measures from the HB100

Week 9 : 07/03 - 13/03

Work done :

  • 7th march presentation
  • Working on the web interface
  • Meeting at Isandlatech with Olivier Gattaz
  • Working on the connection Raspberry – Arduino
  • Working on the connection Arduino – HB100
  • Connexion between Arduino and a PC established
  • Working on returning and displaying measures from the sensor

Week 10 : 14/03 - 20/03

Work done :

  • Working on the transmission of data between the Arduino and the Raspberry
  • Working on the data process
  • Working on the web interface
  • Working on the Raspberry components
  • Meeting at Isandlatech with Olivier Gattaz
  • Tests with a car around Isandlatech
  • Creation of a tube to lead the sensor waves
  • Working on Cohorte components

Problems :

  • Impossible to get speed measures over than 25 km/h

Week 11 : 21/03 - 27/03

  • Discover of the need to build an amplification circuit
  • Working on the connection between the different Cohorte components
  • Working on the report

Problems :

  • Problems with the integration of Cohorte components in the application
